Watch a Heart Transplanted

It's awesome what you can find on Youtube. Here is heart transplant procedure on a normal heart. Of course, my surgery will be a lot more complicated because of my heart's anatomy.

  1. i actually already watched this a few days ago....it really is amazing! your brother--did not watch....but don't be offended, he hasn't watched any of our children be born either (he was in the room, just couldn't look). Blood and the like don't get along with him!

  2. Amazing. I watched the whole thing! It was fun seeing you, Lynette and Eden Mon. night. We'll have to try the swimming thing again when ashes are no longer falling from the sky!

  3. I just watched a portion of the video again. Isn't it fascinating that the transplanted heart will start beating on its own (w/out electrical stimulation) once blood circulation begins? What an amazing organ! Paul, you can bet I'll be waiting at the finish line after you run your first marathon with your new heart :)
