The Living for Eden Concert on April 6th

My family and I are very grateful for all of the support we’re receiving from our community. I have great friends and colleagues in the music industry that I greatly admire. I learned a couple of days ago that a few of them, Kurt Bestor, Peter Breinholt, Ryan Shupe & The Rubberband, Sam Payne, and some others, are coming together to do a benefit concert for our family. They're calling the evening "Living for Eden." That's my little girl's name.

All I can say is thank you! I hope to go and see many of you there, unless of course, I happen to get a call for a heart. That would be nice.

Here is the website for more information:

  5. We can't wait for the concert and hope to have many of our family and friends coming with us. It is going to be a GREAT concert and a fun walk down memory lane of those old high school days. Kaidence used to listen to Peter Brienholt's 'Big Parade' in the PICU during the days that she was feeling spunky! I am so glad that they are doing this for you. I hope that your heart comes BEFORE the big concert.

I could only make it to Gracie's viewing Friday night. I wish that I cold have made it to Gracie's funeral. I heard that you did a beautiful job.

  9. Hi, I'm a friend of Cheryl's from the mission field. I've also followed her blog faithfully over the past 1 1/2 years. Anyway, we're excited to NOT be going to Disneyland this year after all and now we get to come to the concert! Yay! Our prayers are with you and your family. Hope it's okay if I follow your blog too. :)

  11. Keeping our fingers crossed that Grant will be stable enough that we can leave him in the PICU for a great night out to support you and your family. Let's hope that the transplant pager goes off that night too (or before!!)Love to your family!
